In Your House:
Don't Fear the Reaper
2Cold Scorpio and Gangrel fight to a No-Contest
Kurrgan defeats Shawn Stasiak
Kurrgan defeats Stephen Regal

In Your House: Don’t Fear the Reaper started off with a bang as two incredible superstars made their return to WWF action.  Gangrel and 2Cold Scorpio locked up in a blockbuster opening match.  After several minutes of intense action, 2Cold missed the 450 splash and Gangrel countered with the Impaler.  Unfortunately for Gangrel, however, he was unable to make the cover right away.  Suddenly, Axel F hit and the Royal Rumble winner Kurrgan charged down to the ring!   After clearing the ring of two superstars, Kurrgan got on the mic and explained that he was furious about not being scheduled to compete at In Your House.  Then he issued an open challenge, putting is #1 contendership at Wrestlemania up for grabs for anyone who could defeat him!  Immediately, Shawn Stasiak came to the ring but quickly fell victim to Kurrgan’s lethal claw.  Man’s Man Stephen Regal came down next but was beaten just as quickly.  Kurrgan then left the ring with battered superstars lying all about.

Kane and Mankind fight to a No-Contest
Next up, a clean-shaven Big Show came out to referee what promised to be one of the most brutal matches in WWF history.  In an explosion of a feud that had been intensifying for months, Mankind and Kane did not disappoint their fans.  After several brutal minutes of action that included weapons use, goozles and an amazing flying elbow, Mankind clotheslined Kane.  Running right through the Big Red Machine, Mankind inadvertently hit Big Show!  An infuriated Big Show then delivered a devastating Goozle to Mankind!  Kane got a chair and Big Show set up Mankind for a chair-shot, but Mankind ducked at the last second and Kane tattooed the Show!  Show recovered and grabbed Kane and Mankind by their throats, then delivered a huge double-Goozle!  Continuing his assault, the Big Show landed some boots to the two battered competitors as well as some amazing double kicks.  As Big Show left the carnage in the ring, it was clear that the bitter Mankind-Kane feud was still unresolved.

Before the Tag Team Turmoil match, some of the team offered their thoughts on the contest.  None other than Kaientai interrupted the Conquistadors’ unintelligible rant.  Taka said that they would hope to meet the Conquistadors in Tag Team Turmoil because the two men from Japan would not tolerate ridiculous ethnic stereotypes.  “Indeed,” added Funaki.  Next up, Lo-Down expressed their opinions about the unique opportunity they had.  After D-Lo tried to convince the crowd he was a cultured European, Godfather interrupted and told him to focus on the match.  Next, the Wolfpack talked about being split up for tonight’s match.  Both Wolfpack teams seemed very focused on winning and becoming #1 contenders for the tag belts at Wrestlemania.
