The Royal Rumble hits Trump Plaza in just six dayz!!!
Just six dayz before the Royal Rumble, the most explosive Monday Night Raw in WWF history kicked off from the Syracuse War Memorial as the #1 Contender for the WWF title, Sid, and the Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy, came down to the ring.  After trash talking their respective opponents for the Royal Rumble, they replayed the footage of their cowardly and brutal attack on Paul Bearer from Smackdown..
Next, Sid called out the Undertaker.  Instead of the Deadman, however, WWF president Jack Tunney came to the ring!  Even more surprising, Tunney announced that he would not punnish the two bullies for their attack.  However, he did have a special match for the Syracuse fans with an even more special stipulation for Jeff and Sid.  They would have to face Undertaker and Triple H in tag action in the evening's main event.  If they lost, the two bullies would face a brutal beating at the hands of all their enemies at the Royal Rumble.....in a steel cage!!!  Jack Tunney stated that if Jeff and Sid were to lose the main event, they
would be locked in a cage at the Rumble with Undertaker, Paul Bearer, Matt Hardy, the incomprable Big Show, Steve Blackman, and even Triple H!!! When Tunney had left and it seemed things couldn't get worse for the Sycho and the Sexy Boy, the stadium grew cold, the lights went out and the bell tolled.  The two were ready for combat, however, but to their dismay, the Undertaker actually appeared behind them!  Realizing the danger, Sid actually pushed his comrade into the waiting grip of the Man from the Darkside.  After an amazing goozle, Jeff rolled out of the ring and was helped to the back by Sid.  The Undertaker remained in the ring, watching Jeff and Sid with a cold stare.
After commercial, Michael Cole interviewed Shawn Stasiak before his match.  Stasiak declared that he would easily dispatch Mankind with his finisher, the Meat Grinder, before going on to win the Rumble in six dayz!
In a back and forth match, Stasiak impressed fans with technical prowess, but the experience and sheer brutality of the Deranged One proved too much for the rookie.  After being victimized by a devasting Meat Grinder on the cement, Mankind managed to apply the Mandible Claw to win the match.  The real fireworks started when an enraged Kane approached the ring only to be met headlong by the Mankind.  The two grappled and gaining an upper hand, Kane chokeslammed Mankind on the cement.  The feud between these two seemed as hot as ever as they battled to the back.
Backstage, Triple H was vocal about his intentions for the main event and for the Rumble.  He trash-talked the Intercontinental Champion and his comrade in an interview with Michael Cole, declaring, "Sid, Hardy.....
GAME OVER!!!"
After a comercial, Gillberg faced off against Rodney in a preview of the Tag Team Championship match at the Rumble.  In an dismally non-scientific match, Gillberg surprisingly defeated Rodney after hitting him with the Spear and some help from Shane McMahon and a steel chair.  Next, self-proclaimed European Champion D-lo Brown and the Godfather talked about their match later that night.  The two Lo Down members said they were getting in the spirit of the Rumble by facing each other, D-lo dedicating the match to his fans in Oslo and the Godfather promising an enormous pimps and hos party to follow!
After another commercial break, Kurrgan announced the special guest musical performers...Less Than Jake!!!  Red hot after the release of their new cd (Borders and Boundaries), Less Than Jake thrilled the crowd at the war memorial with their hit song "Johnny Quest Thinks We're Sellouts"!
Next up, JR interviewed King of the Ring Matt Hardy via satellite from his home in Cameron, North Carolina.  When asked if he would be able to compete in six dayz, Matt said he had a 50/50 chance of being cleared to wrestle.  Matt declared that he had submitted to the
random drawing and made a special promise to Jeff saying that he was "screwed" if he happened to be in the ring when Matt got in!
After that, the Syracuse fans were treated to a surprise appearance by none other than the Conquistadors!  In broken English, Pizarro and Cortes dared anyone backstage to come out and fight them.  Even more surprising than the challenge was the man who responded.....none other than the Texas Rattlesnake, Steve Austin!  It looked like Austin would have to fight on his own, but out of no where Dustin Runnels came to join the fray.  After one of the least scientific matches ever, one of the Conquistadors was able to pin Austin after, predictably, a barage of punches.
Back from commercial, Steve Blackman challenged the Shawn Michaels for his Million Dollar title in the ten o'clock match.  After much fast paced action, Michaels used the kendo sticks which Dibiase snuck into the ring.  Blackman used his martial arts talents to take the sticks from Michaels, only to use them himself!  The kendo attack wasn't enough to keep the Heartbreak Kid down, however, and after several quick reversals Michaels hit Blackman with the Sweet Chin Music!  Three counts later, the leader of the Wolfpack had retained his title and Blackman's mouth was full of one-hundred dollar bills!
