WWF Tag Team Title Match:

Challengers:
Gillberg and the Ultimate Warrior
v.
Champions:
The Mean Street Posse
Rodney and Pete Gas
At last months WWF In Your House: Right Nextdoor To Hell the Ultimate Warrior was to face Wolfpack Members Jeff Jarrett and Diesel in a #1 Contenders match for the Tag Team Titles.  No one knew however who The Ultimate Warrior’s partner would be.  Most likely as a result of not even searching for a partner, WWF officials teamed The Ultimate Warrior up with the Federation’s most intense flunky, Gillberg!  No only did were Warrior and Gillberg able to somehow win, but by a complete fluke Gillberg was actually responsible for picking up the victory!  That set the stage for a Championship match against the Mean Street Posse, which also are seen as flunkies by many.  Although underhanded tactics have brought it on, none can ignore the Mean Streets’ win-loss record since their title victory at last August’s Summerslam with Shane McMahon in their corner.

The question on everyone’s mind is not whether the team of the Warrior and Gillberg possess the ability to beat the Posse because it’s quite apparent that the Warrior himself has what it takes to win those titles, but instead the question is whether or not Gillberg will get in the way?  Many say yes and even the Warrior himself seems concerned, or more so bothered by the buffoonery of his partner.  This Sunday, the Mean Street Posse had better rely on Shane McMahon and an incoherent referee if they want to escape Trump Plaza with their WWF Tag Team Belts.  Then again they could just rely on their greatest asset in this match:  Gillberg.  One more question on everyone’s mind is that should the Warrior and Gillberg manage to co-exist and capture the Tag Team Straps what kind of representation will they hold for the WWF’s Tag Titles?  Well, it couldn’t get any worse than the Mean Street Posse’s representation.  Could it?
