My Family in Europe

With the last name of  Bodaly  there are several family members around the world, and we are all related.   We come from Northampton, England, where our name has been traced back to the year 1066, when William The Conqueror gave the first Bodilys a parcel of land.

This photo was taken in 1998 by a local newspaper photographer at ceremony which I had been involved with. My mothers ancestry is both Kwaguilth  and Coast Salish First Nations of Vancouver Island, Canada.

In July of 1999 I traveled to Europe to find family members in Northampton.

This church was built by my ancestors around 1700 and still stands in Northampton.

This is an old family photo from the turn of the century which was shared with me, but still do not have all the names of everyone.
