Bucky here, late sidekick of Captain America, was one of my very early customs. I have not ventured very far into the Marvel Universe to be honest, but he was my first Marvel figure, also the first time I'd tried anything other than a straight repaint....I think maybe my third figure? That being said, I'm still really happy with how he looks.
As you can probably tell, he's made from an old Super Powers Robin figure. If I were doing this now, I would have sanded his sleeves and pixie shoes, but at the time I hadn't really masterred that. I sculpted the tops of the boots, and the like seem thing of his jacket, my first milliput adventure! My Dad was into model railways in his youth (still is, just doesn't have the space now us kids exist) so suggested I try milliput, I know people use a lot of different things, but I've always been happy with it! |
