This is one of those figures that I just look at and don't really like. He could definatly do with a touchup, you can see paint scratches visibly in this photo, so I guess I'll send him back to the desk for a new coat of paint. Kenneth Irons is the "bad guy" of Witchblade, he's been around forever, although he recently got the boot when the public were almost tricked into killing off two main characters through a voting system.
This version of Ken is intended to fit in the JLA scale, to acompany my figures based on the JLA/Witchblade crossover which I personally loved! The body is a Two Face figure from the Batman Forever movie line, I didn't like his hands however, so I replaced those, stealing the hands from a George Clooney Bruce Wayne figure. That is also where the head comes from, I think its a good likeness, but doesn't fit this body too wonderfully! Oh well, one day I will attack him and sort him out! I'm gradually working through some old customs I don't like, tinkering with them a little to make them more staisfactory, and also to keep me entertained! I once heard this said, no idea where, and I like to apply it to my figures. "A work of art is never finished, just abadandoned" Couldn't agree more! |
