Secret is another one of my fairly early figures which I have since revisited. I was on a quest to complete the Young Justice lineup at one stage, something I never quite finished, but I had a go! It's a project I wouldn't mind restarting one of these days in the Teen Titans DC direct style...YJ alterred versions of Cassie, Kon and Bart...but that's another story.
Secret here began life as Poisen Ivy from the Batman and Robin movie line. That figure had a hideous face, but quite a nice standard body sculpt. I built up this cloak/jacket thing with cloth (lined with wire round the edges to position it correctly, and the top half with milliput, I then painted it all to match, and to stiffed the cloth. I originally kept the Ivy head, which as I said was hideous, so I've since replaced it with the head from a Jean Grey figure, and the hair, which is a nice match for the real Secret, from White Queen. As I mentioned with Lois Lane, I went through a faze of not painting faces, I think I shoudl return to this one and do that, just so she matches the rest of her body! In general terms however, I'm happy! |
