After Palisades toys launched their initial line of animated style Top Cow action figures, I felt it was my solumn duty as a fanboy geek to continue that vision! So here we have Aspen Matthews, star of Michael Turner's Fathom series. Fathom was originally a Top Cow title which ran from 14 issues I think it was, but Turner has since founded his own company, and taken the lovely Aspen with him, but to me she will always be a Top Cow character!
The figure itself is a combination of two lovely ladies. The top half is Poison Ivy, from the original Batman animated range...but I wanted her with bare feet, so I replaced the legs with some much sanded legs from a Disney's Atlantis mini-figure. I think they meshed reasonably well, but I'm not overly enthrawled with the end restult. However it seems Palisades won't be making any more, so this will have to do! |
