Following on from the Palisdades idea of converting the Top Cow universe into the animated style, I decided to flesh out that universe a little with some Witchblade supporting characters. So here we have Jake, Sara's cop partner. Jake never really seems to have found his niche in the comics, but he's never gone away, so deserves to be immortalised in plastic!
He started out as a Ninja Robin figure from the early Batman Anmated lines, I sanded away qyite a lot of Robiny details, and sculpted this jacket with the hoody underneath it. In sanding I made a vague attempt to shape the shoulders a little more like the current animated style, but not really a conserted (sp?) effort. Looking at the legs now they could have used a bit more care on the sculpting of the trousers, they look a little rought, but never mind, I'm generally happy with my Jake! |
