Another in my batch of figures to continue Palisades' Top Cow range. Three figures is as far as I've got to date, I often look at them on my shelf and consider returning to them, but I'm not that great at the animated style, and I'm working on another animated style project at the moment, so for now, Top Cow can wait.
My favourite of the bunch here however is Nottingham. I made him from a Nightwing figure from the later Batman animated cartoon. Although Nightwing also has long hair, it wasn't the style I wanted, so I cut and sanded that away, and sculpted Nottingham's locks. I also decided to arm him with his male version of the Witchblade that he acquired in #50, which I tried to base on the sculpt of the animated Sara's own gauntlet. I think he turned out quite nicely in the end, I could have done a better job of sanded away the etched bird on his chest, but never mind, its not overly obvious! |
