I have been a She-Hulk fgure for a very long time, I think she's a fun character that doesn't get used nearly enough. That being said, I'm not really a huge Marvel fan these days, but when her new series kicked off, I came running back to check it out, and thoroughly enjoyed it before it got the ax! So this is She-Hulk in her role as a laywer!
The body is Ally Cat, a Toyfare exclusive figure I beleive, I've had her sitting around for years after I used the head and arms for a couple of projects. I had to do a lot of sanding on this figure, especially to get the legs looking smooth, but I put a lot of effort into that and I think it paid off nicely. I also had to replace the arms, which I stole from a Tekken figure that had previously been a Buffy custom (Fray, to be exact) which went back for reworking and ended up getting parts stolen for other projects that I was more interested in, so that was the end of Fray! After attaching the arms, I bulked them up a bit, along with the torso, to make her look a bit more butch! The head is the altwernate 'Dinah' head from DC Direct's original Black Canary fiure, with the hair sanded awat and resculpted, I think it fit nicely size wize, and I'm really happy with how this figure ended up, although its not really in scale with any other Marvel stuff, it was just a bit of fun. |
