Violet was a fun character to come out of the movie. Her powers were maybe a little too identical to the Fantastic Four's Invisible Woman, but its all good! I decided Violet had to be purple, just because of the name really, it was after I'd picked this colour scheme that I pictured her hanging out in Gotham, possibly as one of the Birds of Prey working for Oracle. I did consider going with an Elastigirl based costume, but I decided in the end to go with the Mr Incredible pattern, as its more distinctive, and maybe the "I" stands for Invisible? Maybe she's an ancestor of the Legion of Super-Heroes' Invisible Kid?
For Violet, I used a female figure from the Shadowrun Duels range. I'd used a similar one for Batgirl, and I felt she's quite a suitably body shape for a teenage girl, so she suited my plans for Violet quite nicely. she rounds out the core team well, and who knows, perhaps I'll gradually expand! There certainly were a lot of 'supers' mentioned in the film! |
