I am finally updating this journal. I have been very busy in places without computer access, so I have an excuse. =)
I went to visit my hometown, after having been away for about 7 years. It was strange. I had a major nostalgia overload. All the people I used to know welcomed me with open arms, and it was nice.
I had my b-day there. It kind of stank, because it was just my Mom and brother, but on the other hand, what better way to celebrate your birthday then with those who love you best?
Things have been stange lately. One of the kids I was babysiting last night said "You're boring when you talk about youself."
heh
Maybe he was right.
*shrugs*
I thought it was really cute, that I as told them (two brothers) a good night story, the unattractive heroine of the story cried. I decribed the mascara running down her face in streaks, and the older boy interupted me.
"I thought you said she wasn't beautiful."
Evidently, the 12-year old boy thought all girls that wore make-up were pretty. I thought that this statement was rather touching in its own naieve, sweet way.
Oh, the things that children say
Well, I can't think of anything else to say right now.
