I need to have my rabbits shipped- where do I start?
First, be prepared to sit down and take notes for at least a few hours. Have a good idea of how many rabbits you are having shipped, the dimensions of the cage you are shipping them in, the approxamite weight, and when you'd like to ship them out.

It wouldnt hurt to prepare by going on a site like Expeida to see what airlines ship to you from here.  If you are buying from me, you can ship out of Buffalo or Rochester airports.  You will need to ship them as cargo, NOT carry on.

When you are on the phone make sure you know:
- Where do I drop off the rabbits (the baggage check in the terminal or a specail cargo area?)
- What carrier is required? (many require plastic dog crates)
- How much earier do I need to arrive to check them in? (some airlines ask you to arrive up to 4 hours before the plane boards)
-Get a flight number and confirmation number, and the name of whoever you are talking to.

You will need health certificates for each animal shipped ($35 for any number shipped through my vet).

Here is a list of airlines that take animal cargo.

Continental Airlines
Northwest Airlines
Delta
United
American Airlines

You will want to call around for prices and availability.
