| ''Blindfold What I Stand For'' Written by George Gonzalez Here I go again Dodging your bullets Getting shot in the face Getting shot all over It's okay I'll hide the damage I'll hide the emotions But I can't say the same for the scars Those will always be present I'll degrade myself for you I'll fake my existence for a number For a symbol For a false ending Because I have no love for myself I'll do whatever it takes for you Derail every train for your ecstasy Suicide my literature for a smile Cremate the art that moves me So, please Slit your mind from reality Ravish for eyes from this pain Blindfold what I stand for For it only makes me bleed more Poem © George Gonzalez |
