Better Truth is a rock-band based out of Orange, Massachusetts. They started writing and compiling songs for a CD since the winter of 2004. This past year has been quite the trip. With all members finally getting into a groove with one another the music just came out. So far the band has recieved nothing but positive feedback from many friends, family, and fans who have seen them live, sat in on a practice, or heard a snippit of a demo or two.
No one is really able to explain Better Truth's sound though. Some say it's a mix of Default, Nickel Back, Smile Empty Soul, Shinedown or even AlterBridge. However, their genere is very hard to place, especially with such an eclectic group of musicians. Every member brings their own ingredient to the table; jazz, hard rock, blues, folk, classic rock, and classical schooling create a unique style when brought together.
The band's favorite areas to play out are in the Athol/Orange area and also the Fitchburg Area, especially at the Under-Ground Pub at Fitchburg State College.
