Springheeled Jack
Jack was first spotted in London in 1837 and terrorized the people there for 67 years. He usually attacked young women, ripping there clothes off with his clawed hands and sptting blue flames into there faces. He was around 6 ft. tall, wore a tight white body suit and helmet. Sometimes he wore a cape. He had pointy ears and glowing red eyes. The thing that victims can recall the most is his crazy, ringing laugh.
He was called Springheeled Jack because he easily got away from police by leeping away. Germans tried mimicing this in WW2 by putting spring in the soldiers boots, but all it did was break their shins.
In 2001 a simialr creature terrorized parts of India but was called "Monkeyman". He too had pointy ears glowing eyes and leapt around.
In both London and India, he caused complete hysteria. In London, people barracaded themselves into their houses and in India parents kept their children home from school.
