Niki Nikolic has been a professional athlete for 33 years. His career began as a member of the Balkan Cup Championship Team in Radnicki, Yugoslavia, where he led his team to a 2-1 victory: scoring both goals and receiving a gold medal. He arrived in the United States in 1978, to play for the NASL Tulsa Roughnecks, and later for the Philadelphia Fury. His playing career continued indoor, playing two seasons with the MISL Philadelphia Fever, and Baltimore Blast. He was a member of the Kansas City Comets 1984 play-off team, and became their assistant coach from 1986-1988. Niki became Head Coach of the expansion franchise Hershey Impact in September of 1988, exceeding all expectations by leading a young team, comprised largely of rookies, to the NPSL play-offs for two consecutive years. Another rewarding area of Niki's soccer involvement has been coaching young people in summer soccer programs for the past 19 years in the Central Pennsylvania, South Jersey, and Maryland areas. It has provided one of the greatest joys in a well-rounded career. Nikolic Pro Soccer Programs include coaching and advising U-9 through U-19 Central Pennsylvania Boys and Girls Premier Teams, as well as individual and group lessons year round. Niki is especially proud of the Super Nova Club. Their success in interstate premier competitions continues. Super Nova is Niki's creation and greatest obsession. The Super Nova teams have excelled in the five years since their inception, participating in state and regional competition. During the last five years, Super Nova teams have won fourteen State Cup Titles. In the past year alone, Super Nova had 36 State Players, 8 Regional Players, and 2 National Players. Super Nova is a member of the Continental Alliance, and Super Clubs.
