The World of Dragonball Z is a very big one. Here at this website, I will update the storyline for those just starting to watch DBZ, or who miss some of the episodes.
Ok. It all started when Goku's evil brother, Raditz (who he knew nothing about) came to earth. He told Goku all about his saiyan heritage (an alien race of warriors). Raditz wanted Goku to join him in taking over the universe, but when Goku said no, Raditz stole Goku's son, Gohan. Goku flew after him, and met his archrival, Piccolo, on his way. They joined forces to kill Raditz. The fight was long, and Raditz had the advantage. Gohan got extremely mad (since Goku was being killed) and, flew straight into Raditz. Then, Piccolo and Goku got a plan. Goku went and put Raditz in a stranggle hold, and Piccolo used his Special Beam Cannon and killed them both. Then. since Gohan had no father, and Piccolo experience his incredible power, Piccolo desided to train him, since before Raditz died, he imformed the Z-Fighters (Piccolo, Goku, Krillin, ect.) about to stronger saiyans on their way to earth. So, Goku's dead, right? That doesn't mean he has to stop training. He made his way on Snake Way to one of the greatest martial arts master, King Kai. While training w/ King Kai, the saiyans arrive on Earth. Their names? Vegeta and Nappa. Tien, Chiaoutzu, Krillin, Piccolo, Yamcha, and Gohan all made their way to the battlefield. The saiyan's first attack was to release evil little green martian-type guys called: Saibamen. The Z-fighters eventually beat them, but one grabbed onto Yamcha and exploded on him, killing him. Then, Chiaoutzu exploded on Nappa, attempting to kill them both. But, Nappa lived, and Chiaoutzu was dead. Ties was really mad, having lost his best friend, and used up all his energy to try to beat Nappa, but he ran out of energy and died. Then, a few minutes before Goku arrives back from his training from King Kai (which he learned the Kaioken and Spirit Bomb from) because he was wished back from the Dragonballs, Piccolo dies, saving Gohan from an energy blast Nappa throws at him. Goku arrives, beats up Nappa, then Vegeta kills him since he is not gonna win. Goku and Vegeta go through a series on little fights, then Vegeta sends an energy ball of light in the air so he turns into a giant monkey (saiyans transform into a giant monkey if they see a full moon). Yajirobi cuts off his tail (a saiyan needs his tail to transform) and Vegeta turn to normal. Then, Gohan turns into a monkey (since he's half saiyan) and Vegeta cuts his tail off. Gohan comes crashing downon Vegeta. Krillin is going to use Yajirobi's sword to kill him, but Goku doesn't want him to because Goku is also a saiyan (which you already knew). Since Piccolo and Kami (the guardian of the earth) are one in body (they used to be joined as one) the Dragonballs disappear. Since the Nameks (the race Kami and Piccolo are) created the Dragonballs, Krillin, Bulma, and Gohan take a trip to Namek. When they arrive, they discover Vegeta arrived to look for the Dragonballs and another very strong force (Frieza) is too. Vegeta and Frieza are mortal enemies. Vegeta seeks to be stronger than Frieza. They both want to wish for immortality. Goku, badly injured in a hospital, when healed, will be joining the others on Namek. When he's healed, he goes off in a Capsule Corp. (the company Bulma's dad owns) spaceship to Namek. Back on Namek, the stroyline is confusing. Vegeta takes Frieza's dragonballs, Krillin and Gohan take Vegeta's dragonballs, Vegeta takes Krillin's dragonball, ect. Frieza calls his own pesronal army, the Ginyu Force, since Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan are so powerful.
Guldo, the green and weakest member or the Ginyu Force is first up. He nearly kills Krillin and Gohan, but Vegeta comes to the rescue and kills him. Next is Racoome (the one with red hair and peach skin), the 2nd strongest member. He almost kills Vegeta, Gohan, and Krillin, but then Goku arrives on Namek and finishes him off. Jeice and Burder (the red and blue guys of the Ginyu Force) are the next opponents. Goku kills Burder, but Jeice runs off to Capt. Ginyu (the purple guy) and informs him everyone else was killed. Capt. Ginyu goes over to take care of Goku, while Vegeta gets Jeice, who gets killed. Capt. Ginyu was really injured and switched bodies w/ Goku. Then, Vegeta was about to kill him, when Capt. Ginyu was gonna switch bodies with him, but Goku threw a frog in the way creating...........Captain Ginyu the Frog!!! Vegeta started to take on Frieza, and Frieza transformed to his 2nd, stronger form. Piccolo got wished back by the eternal dragon, and fused with Nail, an injured Namek. He took on Frieza, and Frieza transformed into his 3rd, stronger and faster form. Goku arrived, and Frieza went to his last form. It was a long battle, and stuff, and Frieza was making the planet blow up in 5 mins. Dende, a child Namek, wished everyone on Namek to Earth except for Frieza and Goku. Goku finally "defeated" Frieza and escaped from planet Namek before it exploded.
