We have some final proof that Tails and Sonic are not in the game. He had gotten 50 kills in Cruel Melee. For picture proof, click here. Besides the fact of how hard it is to do that, HE did not get any challenges from Sonic and Tails. There is clear evidence that it was an April Fool's Joke.

Q.Can you be master hand?

A.NO!!!!!!!!   The only seceret characters are, Dr.Mario, Falco, Ganondorf, Jugglypuff, luigi, marth, mewtwo, mr.game and wathc, Pichu, roy, and young link. Thats it no other seceret characters!
For an April Fool's joke a video game magazine (not mentioning anyone by name, EGM) made up the fact that Sonic and Tails are in SSBM by using Photoshop to doctor photos of them in the game.

Q.I know this may be an obvious question, but I have spent some time on it, looked for the answer online, and no FAQ has it!  In the Super Smash Bros. Melee Strategy Guide, it gives a list of the trophies and how to get them.  Some of them require to get ike 26 Combos in Training Mode, how do you do it.  My high score is 13 with Young Link!

A.Very good and hard question.  I tried most of the charcters and levels and ness was the best.  I got 94 combos with him.  you know picka fire(> + B)but
just came here, and i noticed you had trouble telling stupid people that Sonic and Tails dont exist. Ill back you up. First of all, it says in the beginning of the game ( after the hand throws the Mario toy ) it says " NINTENDO'S ALL STARS IN " Sonic and Tails are Sega. Second, Sega didnt come out with anything since Dreamcast and needed some money, so the teamed up ONCE for gamecube and ONCE for GBA. Third, my friend made up that whole Sonic and Tails thing! And my friend loves to spread roumers. He hears someone saying " im trying to get Mewtwo with roy but... " than he will cut in and say that you can get Sonic and Tails. When he saw it in magazines, he laughed so hard! So people, dont bug this guy, he told you 20 times here and you keep asking. I wanna hear some real questions about the game, okay?

Q.First of all I suck at spelling too so Owell.I would just like to know how to gat the trophys that you have in the trophy secction if you could say how you got them that would be great PS. good going on the site!

A.Finily, someone other then me is bad at spelling!! YEA!!!!  well u want to get coins to buy the trophys, play one player mode adventure mode or the the two modes. in adventure mode like the first level there will be trophys laying around look very carfully.  when you beat any mode level you will get coins .All star mode i think the best way to get trophys, because there always laying around, play 2,3,4, player game and when u beat it you will also get coins.  there are other way to get throphys, click here to see!!!

ok ness is the best at combos in traning. use his pkfire on them as many times as you can. because wen u use pkfire they will be trapped in fire for a few seconds. the pkfire counts for more than 1 combo, so keep using that to get alot of combos.

I shall try that.  If u put it on speed 2, You will even get more combos!
I found out a great proof that tails and sonic is not in SSB Melee. The website here http://www.nintendo.com/games/gamepage/faq.jsp?gameId=587 tells that its not even true. Anyways i like your page alot so far. Cya. ~Michael
Q.How do i start off a battle with Sheik insted of Zelda? your site is great and no matter how many times u tell a person about the Sonic and Tails prank they r 2 dum 2 believe u.  I know that they r not up therebecaues they are not nintendo characters.

A.Keep on holding down the A button when you pick Zelda on the character select screen. When the battle begins, you will hear the "unlock chime" from Legend of Zelda and you will start out as Sheik.
My friend showed me that there is a glitch with samus that allows your grapling hook to go twice as far and make it heat seeking. Since he told me that trick long before i bought ssbm so i dont completely remember it. I know to get it to be heatseeking you press L and A but you need to double the length first. To double the length it was something like use the hook and do 360 on c button. If someone else knows this can you tell me how to do it?

A.I just asked him again about samus and he told me what i was doing wrong. He said i have to tap z while doing a 360 on the c pad. the nfor heat seeking press L and a.
Q.Where did you get those fake pictures? Because if te aren't all that fake I seriously want to have Master Hand Crazy Hand and Most of all Giga Bowser as selectable characters.

A.I found those pic. in another site.  THERE NOT REAL! in other words you cant get them. that is just what i said in top in the fake pic. page.
QWhy in the Sound test the Narration numbers 45, 50, and 64 say "Fighting Wire Frames" "Giga Koopa"and "Master Hand"?

A.The people who made the game, made those narration voices, that was before they put the game together.  When they did, they did not need them, so they didnt put them in the game.  When they made the sound test,  they decided to put all the sounds in there, even the ones they did not put in the game.
Q.what does mew and celebi do?

A.They do nothing

A.If it was a hot girl, then if anyone askes her out, she would say no.  Because she wants to go out with a hotter and more richer guy, oo yea, and dont forget she wants a popular guy too.  Coes she noes that she can have anyone she wants, because shes hot.  Now if you would asked some fat girl, she would say yes, because she does not get alot of men after her, so she doesent have a choice.   some hot guy wont ake her out because he can have a hot girl, and the fat girl would go out with a man that doesnt have a girlfriend.  Because HES NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER!!!!!!

Q.how exactaly do u get the original yoshi island lvl? i know u have to hit the sandbag but i can't hit it far enourgh. plz help.

A.First get the bat, then run up the sandbag and jump up in the air and press DOWN+A.  keep on doing that untill the damage is about at least 95%.  If the time just reached 0, still hit him with the bat(it will still work)!
Q.can you play as giga bowser????????.

A.NOOOOOOOOOO U CANT PLAY AS GIGA BOWSER, HOW MANEY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! u probably got that zelda story from a Magizine, couse thats how i got it.

I think so, i have no idea what codes is comming out for it.  I hope some of the codes is that you can be Master Hand, GIGA BOWSER!!???
Q. I am trying to get the Diskun trophy. It is the one where you have to get all of the bonus and penalties. I got moste of them, but I still need a few. So here they are.1)Battering ram:use only battering items(3 or more)2)Hammer throw:throw away hammer. 3)Mario maniac:use only fire flowers,mushrooms,and star men.4)Myst:end match while off screen. 5)Power shield{WHAT Is A POWER SHIELD?}6)whimp:use only recovery items. That is all...........I think. and I cant get the smash coins trophy. Do you have to get 1,000 coinns in the lottery, or in the coin melee matches? ok. I am shure that some of them are really easy to get, but I am just really stumped.OH YEAH 1 MORETHING, HOW DO YOU GET TO PLAY AS SONIC AND TAILS?...just kidding. A.SOO maney questions, no i dont think another ssbm game will come out for gamecube, when another system comes out from Nintendo, there will be another ssb game. I dont know how to those throphys(got them from IGN),  i thing ganindorf is the one of the strongest,  But Master Hand and Giga Bowser is the strongest.

May i announce i have Sonic and tails. they work to gether like ice climbers. one more thing i hav no web camera and im not allowed to use my home camera. so i cant show u proof (ps im NOT lyin) il tell u da moves...up and red makes tails fly up and make sonic hang on. red makes sonic and tails charge up and do spindash forward and red makes sonic and tails do the homing attack and down red makes em both bounce there poses are from completing a level from sonic adventure 1... o yeah and to unlock em have totol of 100 in cruel melee and have combined vs time as 40:00 AND sound test unlocked. when u unlocked em there sounds will be availible in sound test....So THERE U HAVE IT. ITWERENT NO JOKE!!!

u can delet your memery card and do it all over again, mess around, play target test, do what ever u want.
I'm not saying I believe him but he says that you can get mew and a character called alternate game and watch. And to play as master hand , you have to switch the controllers between socket 1 and 2 after you select your characters and press start but before the stage selection screen comes up. he says to get mew ya must have a total of one week on vs mode and to get alternate game and watch you have to stay in classic mode one week without pausing with mr. Game and watch he also said (before I got MR. game and watch) that MR. game and watch goes no.1 on your opponent he also calls bowser Browser He gave me a dream that it has your fake screens and characters that arent even in other games and if they are, you cant play as them in that game. (characters that arent in your fake screen or that he said) Remember I don't believe him(scary dream actually) but the gamecube game shark should have codes to play as master hand ,crazy hand, or Giga Bowser. don't you think! hink? nice website

Q. I have a file of super mario sunshine but I didn't get a trophy. I know it's not a fake because my friend has a prima guide with a pic in it. Anyway is there anything you have to do besides just inserting your memory card. I haven't tried the metroid one yet.

A.someone told me how to those throphys is by is by putting memery cards in gamecube, but it doesnt work, the only thing that i can think of getting those trophys is by gameshark, but im not shur.

A. because by injecting your mario sun shine memery card into gamecube wont work, someone told me wrong.
To get the Mew Trophy, all you have to do is beat All-star Mode on Very Hard only once.

A. to get the Giga bowser throphy by, beating adventure mode without continueing on hard.  there isnt a way to get celebi in a different way, but i can give u a tip, a better chance of getting him is by, being in the melle mode, chose only pokeballs, with 4 plyers level  5-9 (the higher the level, the more poke balls they throw) I suggest a flat level, like final destenation, or if u dont have that, play Yohi's island (the one with the music playing by a banjo).to add more fun pick giant melee!
