TNA profile:

Hailing from Puerto Rico, Apolo returned to TNA in 2005 to continue his climb up the championship ladder. A former NWA World Tag Team Champion, Apolo is a powerful but technically gifted big man that can mix it up with anyone in ring.
Apolo began his career in Puerto Rico, dominating the wrestling scene on the island for several years before joining TNA at its inception in 2002. Thousands of fans on the island would pack arenas on a weekly basis to see Apolo compete.
Splitting time between TNA and Puerto Rico, Apolo soon found a tag team partner in D’Lo Brown and the two won NWA World Tag Team gold in 2004 by beating Kid Kash and Lance Hoyt.

One year later, Apolo is back in TNA – refocused, rededicated and in the best shape of his life. He has recently formed a successful tag team with Sonny Siaki, and the two appear on the verge of getting a shot at the tag team gold. Many claim it’s only a matter of time before Apolo wears gold around his waist again.
