Then continued to wrestle in ECWA, ROH and WWE. This dragon trained under Shawn Michaels and had a developmental deal with the former WWF, where he learned his style from Steven Regal, a respected wrestler who in his time in NJPW challenged for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Defeated Low Ki with Ricky Steamboat as referee in July of 2001. He has even become the most popular foreign pro-wrestler and therefore the most booked foreign wrestler in New Japan right now. In late March, 2004 challenged the IWGP Jr. Title against Heat in Hollywood, CA at TOUKON 2. In March, 2004 he became the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Champion with Curryman and beat Gedo & Jado.
