A former member of the elite Team Canada unit, Eric Young may be extremely quirky – but he’s also one of the most gifted wrestling technicians ever to compete in TNA. A former two-time NWA World Tag Team Champion with fellow Team Canada member Bobby Roode, Young can compete with the heavyweight contenders in TNA or match daredevil moves with the stars of the X Division. When Team Canada was forced to disband, Coach D’Amore held a final meeting with the unit at June’s Victory Road Pay-Per-View. After wishing the other members good luck with their individual careers, D’Amore publicly blamed Young for the end of the group and stripped him of his Canadian colors. Cast aside by his former friends and humiliated in front of the world, wrestling fans began to support Young and backed him in his “Don’t Fire Eric!” campaign. With the fans behind him, Eric Young is now stepping out on his own in the ranks of TNA Wrestling. Certainly, no matter what goal he chooses to attain, Eric Young will still be just as paranoid as ever doing it! |
