The self-proclaimed "King of the Mountain" in wrestling, Jeff Jarrett has been the dominant force in TNA since its inception in 2002.

A top star of wrestling since the early 90s, Jarrett has held championships around the world for every top organization. His finisher, "The Stroke", is one of the most lethal moves in wrestling today. The star is also known to use his trusted guitar as an acoustic equalizer, smashing it over opponents' craniums.

Jarrett captured his first NWA World Heavyweight Title reign against Ron "The Truth" Killings in 2003. More reigns would follow, as Jarrett beat AJ Styles and later won the first-ever King of the Mountain match in June 2004 to recapture the gold.

Jarrett is no stranger to controversy as well, as in October 2003 the star attacked Hulk Hogan during a press conference in Japan.

Jarrett's key strengths are his veteran experience and technical expertise - a combination that has made him one of the most successful stars in wrestling in the past decade. He can ground the onslaught of the X Division high-flyers or chop down the giants of the ring.
