From the time he arrived in ECW in 1997, the former World Heavyweight Champion was one of Extreme Championship Wrestling's most talented and resourceful performers. As a member of The Impact Players, Justin, along with Lance Storm, Jason and Dawn Marie controlled the ECW Tag Team landscape. Credible and Storm were two-time ECW Tag Team Champions, successfully repelling all comers with a variety of unique tag team manuevers, and the use of Justin's trusty kendo stick. Following the breakup of The Impact Players, Credible gave up tag-team wrestling to pursue the ECW World Heavweight Championship. On April 22, 2000, Justin Credible acheived wrestling immortality when he defeated Tommy Dreamer to capture ECW's top prize. Justin held on to the ECW World Title for over six months, in the process establishing himself as one of ECW's all time greats. |
