Mondo debuted in mid-2002, and bulldozed his way through the ranks of the NYWC, posting an undefeated streak that lasted for nearly nine months! And one night, Mondo sent three of the NYWC's brightest stars to the hospital in a span of 10 minutes! Certainly, it is this kind of brutality that has earned Mondo his reputation as an unstoppable machine. Mondo became so good so fast, that he decided to move to Kentucky and compete in Jim Cornette's Ohio Valley Wrestling, a developmental territory of World Wrestling Entertainment. After training and competing in OVW for a little over two years, Mike finally got the call and debuted in WWE as "Mikey" of the Spirit Squad. However, despite his major league success, Mondo still continues to compete here in the NYWC whenever he has the opportunity. |
