Sabu is without a doubt, the most fearless and dangerous competitor that ever competed in ECW and arguably, all of professional wrestling. One look at Sabu's scarred and charred flesh and people know that Sabu is no ordinary man. Like his uncle who trained him, The Sheik, Sabu is an uncontrollable violent being that enjoys inflicting pain on his opponents. Sabu has wrestled with broken knuckles, broken fingers, broken arms, broken ribs and a broken jaw at various times in his shockingly violent career. Sabu has repeatedly treated his own barbed wire caused lacerations with Krazy Glue and athletic tape, resulting in horrific scars that scare children and adults alike. Once, during a no-ropes barbed wire match against Terry Funk, Sabu tore open his bicep early in the contest creating a wound that would later need over one hundred stitches to close. Sabu's manager, Bill Alfonso simply taped Sabu's arm and Sabu inexplicably won the bloodbath of a match to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship.
