One of the preeminent tag team specialists in all of wrestling, veteran Simon Diamond made his return to TNA at June’s Slammiversary Pay-Per-View, forming his “Diamonds in the Rough” group which currently includes David Young.
Diamond entered TNA in 2003 along with tag team partner Johnny Swinger, and the duo would later win the NWA World Tag Team Title during a lengthy feud with America’s Most Wanted. They later lost the gold to the 3Live Kru, with Diamond and Swinger disbanding and facing off for the first time.

Following a hiatus from TNA, Simon Diamond returned to TNA at Slammiversary in a tag team bout with Trytan against Sonny Siaki and Apolo. Along with wrestling, Diamond has offered to manage the career of David Young, his latest “Diamond in the Rough”. Thus far, Young has upped his in-ring game in TNA thanks to Diamond’s direction.
