DSW profile:

Sonny was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa, and moved to Wilmington, North Carolina due to his grandfather being in the Coast Guard. He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sonny Siaki's athletic career began when he started playing football at the age of seven. He continued to play football in junior high, high school and also played as a linebacker at East Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in health and fitness in 1998.

He decided to pursue his true love and enrolled at the WCW Power Plant in Atlanta, Ga. After graduating, he appeared briefly with the Atlanta World Wrestling Alliance and went on to become a favorite on WCW Saturday Night. He faced such opponents Elix Skipper, Alan Funk, and even teamed with Chuck Palumbo.

Feeling like his career was going nowhere with WCW, Sonny quit the company and worked briefly as "Money" in the now defunct UWA in California, before joining Dusty Rhodes' Turnbuckle Championship Wrestling, where he received further training from the former NWA World Champion.

Sonny originally appeared on TNA as one of the 'Flying Elvises', with Jorge Estrada and Jimmy Yang. He still competed with TCW as of the Flying Elvises and captured the TCW Tag Team titles with Estrada. Sonny eventually left the team and feuded with his former partners. In December 2002, he captured the TNA X-Division title, also joining Sports Division Xtreme and taking on Desire as his valet. He has also appeared in national television advertisements for Coca-Cola with Atlanta Falcons Michael Vick and a Zocur commercial with Dan Reeves (former head coach of the Atlanta Falcons).

Sonny decided not to resign with TNA in December of 2005 and has signed with WWE.
