One of the most recognized stars in the history of the sport, Sting is a former multi-time World Champion. He rose to stardom in the 1990s, a champion for both the National Wrestling Alliance and later World Championship Wrestling. His wars against Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, The Four Horsemen, Lex Luger and others are all-time classics. After his successful career with World Championship Wrestling, Sting walked away from the spotlight. During his absence from the ring, he concentrated on his family and even starred in a movie about the turnaround in his life. Wanting to complete his career on his own terms, Sting rededicated himself to the sport and announced he was returning to wrestling in 2006, signing a one-year deal with Total Nonstop Action. The star recently become the new NWA World Heavyweight Champion, a title he won from Jeff Jarrett at the “Bound For Glory” Pay-Per-View in October! |
