Ford has proven to be one of the best, if not the best car manufacturer in the world. Ford has shown much interest in European type styling, which is great because everyone knows just how dull american cars have become. "So how does Ford sell so many cars?" It's there unparallel quality and the ability to appeal to almost anyone. Think about it, Ford owns Volvo, Mazda, Licoln, Mercury, Aston Martin, Land Rover, Jaguar, and are attempting to purchase Porsche. With all this technology at there fingertips, they can keep an open mind when designing there cars and trucks, where GM and Crysler are still VERY one dimensional. As an example, when you here someone mention an american car name like Corvette or Viper, you think,"Oh, thats cool", but when you here something like Mclaren F1 or Mercedes CLK GTR, your thinking"Exotic". Thats not hypocritical, thats just being realistic, people tend to have more respect for non-american cars. Regardless, the Mustang maintaines its respect from virtually every car critic.
P.S. Last year the Mustang outsold the Camaro and Firebird combined nearly 3-1. Not much has changed in thirty-five years!
