| What an actor needs to do is to build a resume` and get some experience. You may do this by going on theatre auditions in your area. If you have a drama department in your school, JOIN! It will give you good experience. Taking acting classes also help. If you don't know how to find out about auditions, call your local theatres and ask them about open auditions.
