What is a monologue?
What is a monologue?   A monologue is, by definition, a dramatic or comedic scene in which only one person speaks.  Types of monologues can be a short-story, a speech, or even a stand-up comedy-routine.  Material can be from a play, movie, stand-up comedy routine, or original material.  You may also find one from reading a book and take a small piece from there.
