This website is dedicated to my 1978 Datsun 280Z. I'm currently working to keep it alive while having fun. This isn't a restoration but a freshening of the appearance and structural repair of the rusted out areas. Some of the ideas and things that I discover along the way would probably benefit those wishing to clean up or restore thier very own Z!
Here's a list of Items that I wish to accomplish on this project: |

* Repair rust inside and out. DONE (again)
* Install a nice interior (i.e. mostly stock with a few modern conveniences like power windows and
locks, cruise control, decent stereo and someday A/C). (Done for now)
* Keep the exterior close to stock with the exception of a front air dam and rear spoiler, possibly
tinted windows. DONE!
* Performance upgrades to the steering, braking and suspension systems. DONE (again)
* A few mild performance upgrades to the otherwise stock drivetrain . (Now with 2.8L TURBO and 5 SPEED!!)
* Try to keep it all within a reasonable budget! (this will be the hard one) |
