DAVIE LOPEZ Is one of the first ONE MAN BANDS (OMB) to perform live in the
United States.
He first started playing music at an age of 14 years old, guitar mainly, but it was
not long befor he was the lead singer of his own band. POLARIS is a label he
recorded under. And they cut records mainly playing in the California area. He
also had a band in Mexico, in which his younger brother , JOHNNY LOPEZ, sang
and played with him.

David has played for celeberties at the Governers Mansion in California, in Reno,
Nev.. at the Plaza Inn, Las Vegas at the Gloden Nugget, in Laughlin, Nev., at the
Edgewater and many other places.

In 1984 he started across country playing and singing from Nashville tenn. to
Branson, Mi. He has played in 38 different states.

. Going on his own, lead to more doors opened up to David than he could imagine.
. Being able to perform with such artists as : B.B.KING, JOHNNY. RODREGIZE AND
MANY MORE.

Technoldgy finally had a break through with the first OMB mechine. Though most
key boards nowdays can set pace with it now, this was the first of its kind and the
break through that David was looking for.
It played the rhythm and drumbs and many outher varities of instruments, but
you controlled them by the use of foot peddels, and a combination of around 25
switches also located around the foot peddels.

Traveling , David learned to play many outher instruments ,besides the
guitar , Trumpet, and keyboard. Saxiphone,Oboe,Steel
guitar,Harp,Harmicona,Base,Drumbs, violin, mandolin, and the accordion among
others he is still learning.

In 1982 David's youngest son was born LUPE LOPEZ, and in 1987 Lupe join his
father in the music busness by singing a hand full of songs. Later in 1991 David
brougt Lupe a "Digital Horn" (*DH-100) that was put out by Casio, and that was
around the last time california saw David Or Lupe perform.

They traveled all across southern united states playing music along the way and
joining in festivels, and playing concerts. There is not many Flea Markets that has
not seen the duo playing music in Arizona, Calif., New Mexico, Texas, Louisiana,
and Arkansas. In southern Texas, they joined the Snow Birds for winters there,
playing in the RV parks, and for parties. They also joined the Snow Birds in
southern Calif. in Slab City, for a few seasons.

David Lopez was born and raised in Madera, California. . He has been known to
play the trumpet and guitar at the same time, while singing the lead, and playing
the base peddles on the OMB machine. all together. A very talented and versatile
musician.

In 1984 he started across country playing and singing from Nashville, Tenn. in
1985 to Branson, Mi. in 1992. In between these years he has played in 38
different states.
After traveling they settled in Arkansas in the Ozarks.

His son Lupe, Born in California in 1982 started playing his Digital Saxaphone in
June 1991. By August 1991, he recorded 5 songs on his fathers tape due to so
many requests. By Nov. 1991 Lupe's tape had to be updated because he had
advanced so fast his tape of 3 months was outdated. Lupe has continued to
advance at such a fast rate and has added a keyboard, guitar, accordion, and
most recently the fiddle to his list of instruments that he playes.

In 1987, at the age of 5 yrs. David asked Lupe to sing with him. Lupe stepped
right up, took the mike from his dad and sang "Lucille". Then he continued to add
songs to his list of accomplishments. Since he has taken up the saxaphone in
1991, his list of songs has grown to Łn impressive collection. For a young lad of
11 years, he is an impressive musician.

Today David is living in Texas, and entertaining with the other talented musicians
in the area. He comes back to Arkansas as he has ties there, but perfers the
warmer climate Texas has to offer. He has become a Snow Bird, part time. that is.
