The two things that I would like to bring to light are.
A. E1 in the Diagnostic block is hooked directly to ground...
B. The TEMS computer is all the way in the back passanger fender.
These two facts combined wth the PITA of getting wires (or anything) threw the firewall, led me to take an alteritive rout to this mod (and the fact that I am a stuborn pain in the butt)
Place a switch Were ever you want (in the dash)
Ground one lead
Run the other lead over to the passenger side kick panel under the glovebox..
Once there find the wire bundle that goes back along the door still..
Unrap it a little, pull out the violet wire, and splice your lead into that..
Tape it up and plug the conector back in
