| Hi, and welcome on my web page hosted by Yahoo. I am from Transylvania,the northern part of Romania, so I would advise you to take care at the vampires when visiting the area. The name of Romania comes from the Roman Imperium for those who do not know yet and this means also that we are "latins". As an engineer in Automation and Computer Science , I finished my studies in 1999 at the Technical University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Besides, a part of my studies are completed in Belgium at Gent University,including my master thesis in Automation which was finished in 2000. Now I am working in an computer network environment including Unix, Windows NT, MPE, IBM systems, in Brussels. I like sciences in general and normally I keep in touch with the Discovery Channel . Philosophy,culture,music,sport are few of my interests. Some of the "top" performances achieved by romanians: -Henri Coanda invented the jet engine for airplanes. -Nicolae C. Paulescu- discovered insulin -George Palade-Nobel prize in Medicine in1974 -Multiple World Champions in Mathematics Olimpic Contests -Romanian girls are the "usually" World Champions in Gymnastics. -ANTIGRAVITATION -I am working/joking on it |
