We logged about 5 more hours at Maria's.  Had some Taco Maker.  By this time, we can't move, we're rashed, burned, and so stoked.  We decide to make the three hour drive back to Luquillo to recuperate and maybe hit big La Selva, and here we make our only bad call in 10 days of surfing.  La Selva is blown out junk, shoulda stayed in Rincon.

Several more days of fun surf followed on the east side of the island, including "La Pared" (the wall), and "Los Ochos", (the eights?) in San Juan, surfing in front of an old fort.
The last day in PR, we head to La Selva for a quick session.  My bags are packed, I just want to get wet one more time.  Not really expecting much, we catch it classic.  The point is working and I get some great rides.  Mike catches my last wave, a chest high peeler that connects all the way inside, at least a hundred yard ride.  I step off onto the sand, and conclude my perfect surf trip.

Now, go get some waves!
Later, Mike
