Last time on Survivor…
17 contestants would soon be whittled to 16.
As the Survivor Contestants had to choose tribe leaders to choose tribes.
Jake and John were picked as tribe leaders. Jake, leader of the Berenty tribe, picked a tribe based on the girls he was attracted to while John, leader of the Civet tribe, picked a tribe based on who he thought would be active and participate. Elliot had left the game, as quitting for the difficulty and for his own reasons.
The two tribes headed to camp. Berenty quickly divided up.
Nancy took charge and quickly was becoming the number one enemy.
**Sarah: Nancy is irritating and the most annoying**
**Summer: Nancy is going a bit eccentric with the maping**
And Anna and Lindsey shared a emotional moment together.
"The doctor said Heath is gonna be fine," said Lindsey smiling, "He woke up the day before I left," "What happened if you don't mind me asking?" asked Anna. "Well the Tuesday before I left my friend and Heath were going to this party, and one of our friends was drinking already and it caused him to have a seizure, the car went straight into a pond," said Lindsey. "Oh my gosh," said Anna and put her hand over her mouth.
While Civet was having a tough time just getting to camp.
"Did you guys find it?" asked Ashley
"Nope, we've been studying the map and we can't find anything, luckily we found you but I think I found the right path here on the map..." said John.
**Ashley: I was kind upset with John, but couldn't remember which way which cost us valuable time**
While Joel had disappeared.
"Where is he…" said John looking around.
Berenty had earned 100 Reward Points and Waterproof matches. Reward points were another new aspect to the game. Two challenges would depend on who had the most reward points.
Back at Civet Joel still hadn't appeared and immunity had come up.
At the immunity challenge Civet took an early lead with Michael, but miraculously with the help of Nancy Berenty took the immunity idol.
"That is...correct, Berenty has immunity!" yelled Jeff, "Civet you were so close but tomorrow you will be attending tribal council," said Jeff.
Civet had to head to tribal council, Jennifer and Joel were the targets.
But at tribal council a another new aspect was put into the game.
"Ok, now its time to shake things up, I need you each to put a vote into this jar for who you want to get the spider ring, after the votes are tallied I'll tell if it was either good or bad, during each tribal council you attend a new person will get the spider ring by a vote."
"The spider ring is a voting block, whoever has it cannot vote during that tribal council, Michael I'm sorry but you cannot vote during this tribal council," said Jeff.
The rest of the tribe voted and Joel was the first person voted out of the game.
"Joel the tribe has spoken," said Jeff.
15 remain who will be voted off tonight?
Berenty Anna Garret Jake Lindsey Nancy Sarah Star Summer
Civet Ashley CD Emily Jennifer X Joel John Kitty Michael
One Survivor
-Civet Camp- -Day 4-
The Civet tribe awoke with one less member.
**Kitty: We had a huge lead and do to circumstances we couldn't keep it going**
They had voted Joel off last night, most were glad to get rid of him.
**John: He wasn't here it was an easy vote**
**Jennifer: With Joel gone the tribe needs to look for a new slacker**
**CD: Tribal council wasn't to fun but it has to be done**
The tribe's fire was blazing pretty high as the tribe began to cook their rice and gather around the fire.
Now that Joel was gone people began to start making alliances, and Civet was ready.
Emily and Michael went off to get the some water for the tribe at their watering hole.
"I guess this is about enough," said Michael.
They both sat there for a few minutes, then Michael started talking.
"Well...er...I was wondering maybe, we could watch each other's backs," said Michael.
"Ok," said Emily.
"Like a final two alliance?" asked Michael.
"Sure I guess so, sounds good to me," said Emily.
**Michael: Well me and Emily made a final 2 pact…**
**Emily: Michael and I made a final 2 alliance**
They both nodded and grinned. But alliances were not stopping yet.
**Michael: I asked CD, Emily, and Ashley**
But Ashley was having second thoughts. Emily wasn't her favorite.
**Ashley: Emily gives me the impression that she is trying to take charge and wants to be in control of everything**
But Ashley and CD were together.
**Ashley: CD is my strongest ally**
**CD: Ashley is a great friend and we are going to go a far**
The tribe was ready for some action to start, but they were worried about slackers.
**John: Jennifer only made our original flag, and not much else**
**Ashley: I've talked to Kitty a little, but kinda been slacking lately**
**Michael: Jen doesn't do much of anything**
Civet continued to make assumptions and guesses, while ran back to their alliances to see what they knew**
-Berenty Camp- -Day 4-
Berenty awoke still excited about yesterdays win.
**Sarah: Nancy did a good job yesterday, she kind of helped herself stay**
But just like Civet was dividing up.
Star and Garret hung out with each other.
Lindsey, Anna and Jake had also bonded.
While Sarah, Nancy, and Summer all also kept to themselves, even though Sarah and Summer were not to happy with Nancy.
**Summer: I hate Nancy**
But of course people were not to happy with people.
**Anna: Summers early alliance scheme was shown to everyone**
**Jake: Garret and Star are really gay**
**Garret: Jake is homophobic**
**Anna: Star is definitely a slacker I would say. He doesn't do much or talk much or any of that. I guess Sarah isn't very active either.**
Anna was feeling pretty good about herself. She had good friends and was easily manipulating people.
**Anna: On the first day Summer asked me for an alliance. I didn't want to do it because I didn't want to sell my self out so early but I told her that I would have an agreement with her to let her know how I'm voting and she could vote with me if she wants. She feels vulnerable so I basically have her in my palm.**
Berenty was having its differences.
**Nancy: Everyone is basically ok, I guess…**
**Summer: I think they want me voted out**
-Civet Camp- -Day 5-
"No tree mail yet…" said Kitty walking in.
**Kitty: We are all pumped for the challenge today**
**John: I'm hoping we all help…**
John was speaking of Jennifer. She had not been helping at all, at least in the majority of the tribes minds
**Jennifer: I need to show a reason, why I should stay!**
**John: She is a huge slacker**
**Kitty: She doesn't do anything**
**CD: Jennifer has helped the least of the tribe**
**Michael: The least active she doesn't do anything**
**Ashley: Don't really know her, haven't talked to her much, not too fond of her though**
**Jennifer: I'm the outcast, I'm sick and they don't care about me**
Besides Jennifer trying to stay in the tribe was really looking forward to the challenges this week.
**CD: We are getting rid of the slackers for a more important tribe**
John was hoping his tribe would be good, and really wanted to win the challenges.
Just then Emily ran in with tree mail.
"The culture reigns from all around, find the right people in the town," said Emily.
"The town?" said Kitty.
-Challenge Field- -Day 5-
The two tribes walked into challenge field. Berenty noticed that Joel was not with the group and had been voted out.
Jeff was standing next to the bus they had come in, to start the game. He had two pieces of paper in his hand and smiled at the two tribes.
They came and stood on their appropriate mats on the ground.
"Welcome to your first reward challenge. Your in for a bit of a treat already. You'll be taking this bus and heading to a local village. In that village you need to get the most signatures from the Malagasy musicians, and only from the musicians. Whoever has the most after 2 hours wins this reward challenge. Now today you'll be playing for 200 Reward Points and a fishing rod with several different types of baits. Now who is sitting out Berenty?"
Star raised his hand.
"Let's load up."
The two tribes got in the bus, each now with their own piece of paper for signatures.
Each tribe had a plan as they eventually got to the small village.
"All right, there are two exits on this bus, when I say go your time starts to signatures, Survivor's Ready? GO!"
The two tribes stormed out of the bus, each heading in opposite directions in the village.
Some people were alarmed but others wanted to know what was going on with these new strangers in their village.
"Over there," said John pointing to a group of musicians.
"Can we have your signature, on this paper?" asked John. He pointed to the pen and the piece of paper.
It was more difficult then they thought since the local Malagasy people didn't know what they were signing.
Berenty had split up, each with their own section of the paper.
Nancy, Lindsey, Anna, and Garret were together.
"More people over there," said Garret getting the sheet from Nancy and walked over to them.
"Ok, maybe we should head back to the rest of the tribe," said Anna.
"Where did they go?" said Lindsey the tribe kept looking around.
Back by Civet they were easily getting tons of signatures.
"This isn't bad," said Kitty.
Nancy, Garret, Lindsey, and Anna had gotten lost.
"Where is everyone, there isn't anyone here for signatures anymore anyway!" said Nancy.
"Did we ask them?" said Lindsey pointing.
"Yea we did," said Garret sighing.
Time quickly passed.
"You guys got 15 minutes!" yelled Jeff.
"That's around 100," said John to his tribe.
"Pretty good, can we find any more?" said Ashley.
"I'm not sure…"
Jennifer was also helping she was trying really hard to get signatures.
"Hey can you sign this?" said Jennifer to some locals.
Berenty was getting worried.
"Where are the others?" said Jake to Summer and Sarah.
"You guys gotta get to the bus before time is up!" yelled Jeff.
"There!" pointed Sarah. The other four were running up to them.
"Hurry count it Jake!" said Anna throwing him the list.
Both tribes raced to the bus.
"Time!" yelled Jeff.
Both tribes were their.
"Let's head back and we'll see who won," said Jeff and both tribes loaded on to the bus and joined Star.
They headed back to challenge field and the bus drove off.
"All right let's see the lists," said Jeff.
"Wow, Civet that is 96 signatures," said Jeff.
"But…"
Civet looked down at the ground.
"Berenty has 121, congratulations! You get this fishing rod and bait, and these reward points will be added to your total score!" said Jeff.
Berenty cheered. Clearly being a tribe with the physical and mental edge.
Civet walked back to camp gloomily.
-Berenty Camp- -Day 5-
**Nancy: We are doing great, we've won all the early challenges**
Jake had picked a tribe of youth and it was working.
**Jake: My tribe is doing great, I am having a great time with the girls!**
**Anna: GREAT!! WE ROCK**
But immaturity was breaking the tribe up.
**Anna: I think a lot of our tribe is immature and I really hate that, it just gets a bit annoying**
**Sarah: I don't know who to side with anymore**
**Summer: Nancy is being a bit immature**
**Anna: Nancy is the odd duck out**
**Jake: My tribe is basically ok, except for Star and Garret**
And opinions were always present.
**Anna: Sarah is so quiet**
**Summer: I hate Anna**
**Star: The tribe doesn't talk to me, I just chat with Garret**
**Garret: They don't give Star a chance**
**Jake: Star is a slacker**
**Summer: Garret is like an older brother**
**Nancy: I really just like Garret**
**Anna: Lindsey is my girl! I love her. She understands me very well and it's like we are sisters you know.**
**Nancy: Lindsey is getting through some tough stuff with her boyfriend, she is sweet**
**Anna: Jake, I love him to death, I can really relate to him. He is just a wonderful guy with a great spirit.**
**Garret: Jake is are hormonal leader**
**Anna: Garret, he's a funny guy. Very sweet and kind. Polite and proper too. He always has good things to say.**
**Sarah: I don't talk with Garret to much**
The tribe used their new fishing rod and went to sleep excited and hoping for another win**
-Civet Camp- -Day 5-
The tribe was following the same paths as previous tribes. They could easily become the new Rangiroa.
**John: I don't know what is wrong, we just barely miss the win**
**Kitty: We are strong we just mess up, just a bit more effort**
**Emily: I loved challenge, to get to chance to talk to people about there culture is really fun. I think that's when I saw Jen come out a bit more**
**Jennifer: I tried my best at the challenge I hope it helps**
**CD: We all worked hard, Berenty just beat us**
**Ashley: I just wish we could win something**
But the tribe was thought they were more together then Berenty.
**Emily: Friendships, and pacts that I doubt will destroy me soon in the game. We got a united tribe, one that seems a lot more united then the other, and with that I think I got a shot at winning this thing.**
**Ashley: We've definitely made stronger relationships with each other, I've bonded with John and CD**
**John: We are together, we work hard just are unlucky**
**Michael: I've worked together with several members of the tribe**
The tribe worked together to get to camp and they knew they could work together to win challenges.
**John: Its only a matter of time**
**Kitty: We can win, we can just try harder then we do**
-Berenty Camp- -Day 6-
It was again a challenge day. Berenty was all pumped up.
**Jake: I'm pretty sure we can pull off another win**
**Summer: We are doing awesome**
**Nancy: We kick butt**
**Sarah: I'm safe as long as we continue winning immunity challenges**
**Garret: We are a great tribe, challenge wise**
Anna came in with treemail.
"Through the door you must go, find it quick and you will know, this challenge is just for you, if you know how to open and get through," said Anna.
-Challenge Field- -Day 6-
The two tribes walked in Berenty called out cheers and yelled excitedly as they came in.
"I'll take that back," said Jeff, taking the immunity idol from Sarah.
"Immunity back up for grabs," said Jeff, "Today, we have a series of doors behind us. There are 20 doors in the first group. 50 doors in the next group, and 100 doors in the final group. Your job is to find the three unlocked doors and get your tribe through to the others side. The first tribe to get their wins."
"All right lets get ready," said Jeff. He picked up the immunity idol and walked to the other sides of the set of doors."
Sarah went to go sit down, being the extra member of Berenty not playing.
Jake looked over at Civet and smiled.
"Survivor's Ready? GO!" yelled Jeff.
"Start checking the doors!" yelled John. He and Emily quickly started turning the knobs as fast as they could."
"Hurry Civet!" yelled Ashley.
The two tribes worked like mad to get through the doors.
John and Emily found the first one.
"Civet this way!" yelled Jeff. Civet all ran through.
"Over there!" yelled Anna pointing. They ran over to door 18. Nancy tripped.
"Get up," yelled Summer and pulled her up and the tribe ran through to the next set.
Civet was still searching some out of breath from working so fast.
"Geez, I can't find it," said Michael.
"Sh!" said Emily to John pointing to door 48.
The tribe quickly got through.
"Not again," said Jake to Anna, "Get through door 48 Berenty!"
The tribe again quickly caught up with Civet.
"Your neck and neck!" yelled Jeff on the other side of the doors.
"Oh geez," cried out Anna. Jake was muttering friendly words as well.
The two tribes continued to shake the handles.
A door opened and Jeff looked at the two walking through.
Anna and Jake popped in followed by the rest of Berenty.
Just then John and Emily lead Civet.
"Berenty wins again!" yelled Jeff as the rest of Civet came in.
"Civet, you guys have tribal council tonight, good luck," said Jeff.
Civet eyed the cheering Berenty with disgust.
The two tribes left.
-Civet Camp- -Day 6-
Civet had lost again.
**John: We have another tribal council to attend**
**Kitty: I think its going to be another easy vote**
**Jennifer: I need to persuade people to not vote for me**
**Ashley: Jennifer most definitely**
**Michael: I'm definitely not going, I think we all know who is getting the boot**
The tribe eyed each other. Hoping for not some surprise.
**Michael: We all pull our own wait so this might be difficult**
**CD: My alliance is still in the game**
**Emily: No, and I do not feel I am vulnerable, I am being cocky by saying that...I trust my team, and they trust me**
The tribe headed to tribal council.
-Tribal Council 2- - Day 6 -
The tribe lit their torches in the fire's on the pathway to tribal council and sat down. Jeff gave them a half smiled and looked at John.
"John, you guys have always been so close, what do you think the problem is?" said Jeff
"I think we just need to put in a little more effort, we are right their next to them, they are no better then us," said John.
"Jennifer, how is everyone participating?" asked Jeff. "I think some of us are doing more of the work then others," said Jennifer.
"Ashley, is anyone making any alliances?" asked Jeff. "I'm not really sure, I think some people are hanging out more then others," said Ashley.
"Ok, as you know the spider ring is back up for grab, someone will not be able to vote, I need you all to put your votes in this jar. Paper is below your seats," said Jeff.
The tribe all placed their votes in…
"With the majority of the votes, Jennifer you have the spider ring and cannot vote. Everyone else it is time to vote someone out, Ashley your up first."
Ashley walked up to the camera, "Your not helping out in the camp."
She walked back and Emily came to vote.
After Emily, John voted.
CD went to vote next, "We need a more proactive tribe," he said, "Sorry."
Kitty voted next, and then finally Michael voted.
"I'll go tally the votes," said Jeff as Michael sat down.
The tribe sat their none looked nervous.
"The person with the most votes has been voted out of the tribe, the person my leave tribal council immediately, I'll read the votes."
"First vote…"
"Jennifer."
"Second vote…"
"Jennifer. That's two votes for Jennifer."
"Third vote...Jennifer."
"The second person voted out of the game," said Jeff and turned around the vote, "Jennifer."
Jennifer nodded.
"Sorry Jennifer," said John.
"Please bring me your torch," said Jeff.
Jennifer got up and walked over to Jeff, "Jennifer, the tribe has spoken," said Jeff.
Jeff snuffed her torch. "Bye guys," said Jennifer and walked off.
"You may head back to camp," said Jeff. The six members of Civet walked off.
