Days 1-3

17 contestants would soon be whittled to 16.

The way the game began would be brand new never before done.

The 17 had to head to tribal council first.

"Hey," said CD to Lindsey, "I'm CD."

"Hey CD," said Lindsey, "How are you doing? I'm Lindsey!"

**Lindsey: Me and CD hit it off right away and really bonded**

**CD: I opened up to Lindsey so much!**

As the 17 walked into tribal council, Elliot had quit leaving sixteen to beformed into two tribes chosen by tribe leaders.

Jake and John were picked as tribe leaders. Jake, leader of the Berenty tribe, picked a tribe based on the girls he was attracted to while John, leader of the Civet tribe, picked a tribe based on who he thought would be active and participate.

The two tribes headed to camp. Berenty quickly divided up.

Nancy took charge and quickly was becoming the number one enemy.

**Sarah: Nancy is irritating and the most annoying**

**Summer: Nancy is going a bit eccentric with the maping**

And Anna and Lindsey shared a emotional moment together.

"The doctor said Heath is gonna be fine," said Lindsey smiling, "He woke up the day before I left,"
"What happened if you don't mind me asking?" asked Anna.
"Well the Tuesday before I left my friend and Heath were going to this party, and one of our friends was drinking already and it caused him to have a seizure, the car went straight into a pond," said Lindsey.
"Oh my gosh," said Anna and put her hand over her mouth.

While Civet was having a tough time just getting to camp.

"Did you guys find it?" asked Ashley

"Nope, we've been studying the map and we can't find anything, luckily we found you but I think I found the right path here on the map..." said John.

**Ashley: I was kind upset with John, but couldn't remember which way which cost us valuable time**

While Joel had disappeared.

"Where is he…" said John looking around.

Berenty had earned 100 Reward Points and Waterproof matches. Reward points were another new aspect to the game. Two challenges would depend on who had the most reward points.

Back at Civet Joel still hadn't appeared and immunity had come up.

At the immunity challenge Civet took an early lead with Michael, but miraculously with the help of Nancy Berenty took the immunity idol.

"That is...correct, Berenty has immunity!" yelled Jeff, "Civet you were so close but tomorrow you will be attending tribal council," said Jeff.

Civet had to head to tribal council, Jennifer and Joel were the targets.

But at tribal council a another new aspect was put into the game.

"Ok, now its time to shake things up, I need you each to put a vote into this jar for who you want to get the spider ring, after the votes are tallied I'll tell if it was either good or bad, during each tribal council you attend a new person will get the spider ring by a vote."

"The spider ring is a voting block, whoever has it cannot vote during that tribal council, Michael I'm sorry but you cannot vote during this tribal council," said Jeff.

The tribe was surprised by the results.

The rest of the tribe voted and Joel was the first person voted out of the game.

"Joel the tribe has spoken," said Jeff.

Host Comments: I was not shocked at all with the results and predicted that Joel would go, he just wasn't their to begin with. Berenty was showing to be a really strong tribe which I was proud off. Jake had made good choices. During this time I wondered how John and his tribe would fair.

Days 4-6

Civet had lost its first member making them look like the New Rangiroa.

Jennifer was struggling play this game and was having difficulty.

**Jennifer: With Joel gone the tribe needs to look for a new slacker**

Alliances were being formed as Michael and Emily teamed up while CD and Ashley joined up.

"Well...er...I was wondering maybe, we could watch each other's backs," said Michael.

"Ok," said Emily.

"Like a final two alliance?" asked Michael.

"Sure I guess so, sounds good to me," said Emily.

**Michael: Well me and Emily made a final 2 pact…**

Berenty was starting to pick out slackers and rejects.

Star was homosexual and didn't really care for the game and was soon targeted by Berenty members.

His only friend was Garret.

**Jake: Garret and Star are really gay**

**Garret: Jake is homophobic**

**Anna: Star is definitely a slacker I would say. He doesn't do much or talk much or any of that.**

At the first reward challenge, the players had to find signatures from Malagasy musicians.

Berenty narrowly won more reward points and other gifts.

Berenty was also becoming more and more divided.

**Summer: Nancy is being a bit immature**

**Anna: Nancy is the odd duck out**

**Jake: My tribe is basically ok, except for Star and Garret**

And opinions were always present.

**Anna: Sarah is so quiet**

**Summer: I hate Anna**

**Star: The tribe doesn't talk to me, I just chat with Garret**

**Garret: They don't give Star a chance**

**Jake: Star is a slacker**

**Summer: Garret is like an older brother**

At the immunity challenge Berenty barely won again meaning Civet would head back to tribal council.

Jennifer was voted off for not being very active...

"Jennifer, the tribe has spoken."

I again was not shocked at the vote, Jennifer just wasn't that interested, but she stayed in their until the end and didn't quit because she knew she didn't have a chance. At this time I was really hoping that Star and Garret would get accepted by their tribe but they never really had a chance and I felt bad for Civet as well.

Days 7-9

Civet had become sick of losing.

**John: I'm sick it, all inactive are gone its are time**

**Kitty: We voted Jennifer off because she wasn't helping out, it was a sad vote really but Jennifer needed to help out more**

**CD: The game will just get tougher and we shouldn't try to be to sad, if we go to tribal council again, a real active person will go**

**Emily: Jennifer was good at heart just didn't put in 100%**

**Ashley: Another easy vote next one will be harder**

While at Berenty Star was the main target.

**Jake: He is gay and mean**

**Anna: Star does much of nothing**

**Lindsey: I really don't see Star making it to far into the game.**

**Garret: They don't give him a chance he is trying his best**

**Summer: Star who?**

At the reward challenge, the tribes had to find their torches. Berenty easily won again.

Civet was sick of their luck.

Berenty had won a dinner, at the dinner they confronted Star.

"You gotta start to connect with us or we are gonna boot you..." said Jake. Lindsey nodded.

"Star you should also be nicer," said Nancy.

"Um, hardly anyone talks with me, and I don't want to talk with you Nancy..." said Star.

"Geez leave him alone," said Garret.

"Star that was rude, very rude," said Lindsey.

"I really don't care," said Star.

"Your so ignorant," said Jake.

Garret then tride to keep Star in the game.

Garret came down to sit next to him, "We have to do something to keep you in the game," said Garret.
"I'm not sure what to do."
"What about getting Lindsey out?"
"If it works I'm up for it, but otherwise I'm not caring for these people," said Star.
"Hmm ok, I'll see if I can start anything up..."
"All right," Star layed down.

At the immunity challenge, Civet finally won and Berenty headed to their first tribal council.

Not surprisingly Star was voted out.

"Star the tribe has spoken."

The first three boots were not a shock at all, I was really happy that Civet came back and won. Garret tried really hard to keep Star in the game and so I did wonder if it would pay off but it didn't. I was also glad all the inactives were gone. Yes Sarah could have been more active but at least she was playing...

Days 10-12

The tribes were switched up.

Jake chose Ashley and Kitty to join his tribe while John chose Nancy and Garret to come to his tribe.

These new choices shook up the game.

CD was now becoming more and more rebellious.

"Hey John...I want to talk to you...okay?" asked CD.
"Go on," said John.
"I will totally respect your answer if you tell me the truth..and not jump around it...but who are you voting for?"
"In case we go to tribal council... Nancy," said John
"Why not Garret? Why Nancy?" asked CD.
"I am open to you guys and I will talk with a straight face so there is no secret on my vote... its because Garret hates Nancy and he wants vote with us," said John. CD was  quiet for a second.
"So its more of an advantage with us at the merge if we don't get any extra votes..." said John
"Wel I am not voting for Nancy...""
"Well then who are you voting for?" said John looking up from filling the water jug.
"Well I am going to be totally honest, I'm deciding over you or Garret, but if you give me your word on something then not you..." said CD.

At the immunity challenge the old tribe leaders had to choose new tribe leaders who would then compete in the challenge.

"Jake and John please sit on these seats next to me."

Jake and John went over to Jeff. A small brown table was sitting in the middle with three cards. The seats were on opposite sides of the tribe benches. John could see Civet, Jake could see Berenty.

"As we know, tribe leaders make important decisions in this game. John and Jake have both done two things. Pick tribes, and most recently get two players from the opposite tribe. It is time to pass these leaderships off. The person you guys give leadership to will be the only tribe members competing in this challenge."

"John, who will be your new tribe leader?"

John looked uneasily at his tribe, "Garret."

"John please go take a seat back with your tribe, Garret come down here.

"Jake who do you want to be leader?"

"Uh...Anna."

Jake and Anna switched spots, Anna had a huge grin on her face.

"Ok, you two will be representing your tribes during this challenge. Under these three cards are three predicaments. If you say yes to them, they will happen and your tribe will get a point. If you say no, then nothing will happen on your tribe but you won't get a point. Now the person who does the most wins. If their is a tie then I will do a tie-breaker question. Here we go!"

Garret looked at his tribe, while Anna smiled weakly.

"Get rid of half of your reward points. Yes or No?"

Garret looked at John who nodded.

Anna eyed Ashley. Ashley was thinking.

"Yes," said Garret.

"How many reward points does Civet have Garret?" asked Jeff.

"Almost 1000..." said Garret.

"That is right, 1354 to be exact. You guys have pulled in the leader for them, but now they get cut in half and are rounded down to... 677."

Civet nodded.

"Anna, yes or no?"

"Um, yes," said Anna. Some Berenty groaned.

"Thats 1002, divided by 2 it is... 501. Each tribe has one point."

The two tribes sighed.

"To give up voting for the next three tribal councils you attend."

"No, I'm sorry guys, I can't," said Anna. Ashley and Jake nodded.

"Sorry Civet, I can't either."

"Ok, this is still tied one to one. Anyone's game, it is time for the third problem..."

The two waited.

"Ok, here it is, lose the rest of your reward points," said Jeff.

Garret looked at his tribe and Anna looked for an answer.

He won't do it, mouthed Ashley to Anna. Anna nodded understanding.

Garret finished as well with Civet.

"On the count of three say it at the same time, one two three.."

A muffled yes and no were said.

"The winner is Civet!" yelled Jeff. Civet cheered. On Berenty Kitty frowned.

"Berenty you guys are headed to tribal council tonight with some reward points left. Civet you better try your best to work hard at camp and win some of the reward challenges to get your score back up."

Berenty decided to get rid of an inactive over a new tribe member and Sarah was shockingly voted out.

"Sarah the tribe has spoken," said Jeff.

I really wanted to make tribe leaders important so every once in a while I'll throw in a special task the leader gets to do. Then switch things up...Sarah going was a shock to me. I don't know anyone that would do that at all.

Days 13-15

Sarah was gone and this gave Civet the chance to pull ahead.

The Berenty tribe was a bit sad about it though....some were.

**Kitty: I am shocked completely shocked**

**Ashley: It was pretty odd that they kept her in the game over Sarah**

At the reward challenge Civet won again giving them a chance to get back their reward points.

But back at Civet, Garret was a time bomb waiting to explode.

"Sarah!" yelled Garret.
"Yeah..." said Nancy, "I saw that coming..."
"So did I. Are you as angry about it as I am?"
"Yes, I am much angrier then you...but other reasons," said Nancy.
"It's stupid isn't it? Just argh, DUMB Prismic Beauty: Civet will vote us out as soon as they can. And they are voting Berenty out on their own will. Thats bull!" said Garret, Berenty is playing stupid..sigh."
No they won't!" said Nancy.
"'Please don't be naive, they will...they are gonna vote us out as SOON as we go to tribal council...." laughed Garret.
"Were you and Sarah aligned?"
"Jake doesn't want to keep Kitty anyways," said Nancy.
"Then why didn't they vote her out," said Garret.
"She wasn't helping....didn't you know?" asked Nancy.
"No.Well -- we are by ourselves now. Civet has a great alliance, and are playing amazingly," Garret sighed.
"I wouldn't think so," snapped Nancy.
"And we are stuck with them, about to be voted out, while our "tribemates" are playing stupidly. But -- what can ya do."
"No, I don't believe that!" yelled Nancy.
"What do you not believe?" said Garret.
"That former tribemates are playing stupid and that the other Civets are playing amazingly," said Nancy, "I don't beleive that."
Garret rolled his eyes, " I'm sure they aren't playing STUPIDLY, but they are playing a bit naive. I bet they think that Ashley is going to go with Berenty. She won't! Ha! And they expect Lindsey to stay loyal!"
"I think before we make guesses we should know whats going on.."
"She's going with CD I'm sure...CD talks about it, Lindsey did.
"I personally like the way the game is playing out..." said Nancy, Garret laughed.
"And if we go to tribal council, what do you think will happen then?"
"If we go to tribal council John will get the boot, he isn't liked over here."
Garret burst out laughing, Nancy frowned, "You really think so?"
"He wants an alliance with me so bad. He doesn't want to go and CD said he was a threat..." said Nancy.
"So you really expect them to vote John out?" said Garret.
Nancy had no response.
Garret rolled his eyes and burst out in anger, "I am sick of people playing ignorantly. You aren't liking my strategy and I've been trying my best and so I've nearly given up. If you can't trust me, the only tribe member you have over here, who can you trust?"
"We can manipulate...people that is fun..."
"I'm doing no manipulation over here... I wanted to make actual friends, who I could have intelligent conversation with. And after day one I knew that was a joke, Star is gone -- and I have NO conversation with anyone else worth a shit. I expected people to play this game who...never mind, thats a bit to mean...see ya," said Garret.
Garret walked up to John and took his stuff and left the camp.

Garret then walked up to the production crew.

-Convo with the host-

"I want out, I can't deal with the immaturity..." said Garret.
"Seriously?" asked the host.
"Yup, sorry about this but I can't deal with Nancy being annoying or my chance of not winning..."
"I really hope you reconsider..." said the host.
"Nope, I'm gone.." said Garret.
"At least tell me who you want to have leadership..."
"Michael..."

It is always disapointing when an active player quits, this dispointed me a lot since I thought Garret was a good player and all. But you win some you lose some, his choice of Michael being the new tribe leader shocked me though. I'm not sure if it was random or not, but an unlikely choice, if I do say so.

Days 16-18

Civet had majority over Berenty.

"One more goes before we merge you guys, we can't afford to lose another one of us or we will be eaten up when we merge. So basically we have a bit of a dilemma, should we lose or win this next immunity challenge?"

"We should still win, it is important not to lose, we don't know if Nancy has an alliance over their or not," said Summer.

"We can't take chances, we should lose and vote off one of them," said Anna.

"That is what I want to do," said Jake.

"It is reward points though, so we don't know if we are losing or winning in them," said Lindsey.

"Why don't we act like we are trying to win this one and then still lose..." said Jake.

"They still must be trying over their, right?" said Anna.

"Not unless they are doing the same thing we are," said Summer, "The best thing to do is still to win..."

Both tribes new the immunity challenge would be reward points, so basically winning it would be making you lose a player.

**Lindsey: The best thing to do is lose and get rid of one of them**

At the reward challenge, both tribes tried their best to earn some final reward points.

"30 Berenty, 20 Civet... total scores....840 points for Civet. And 720 for Berenty. Not bad for either tribe, good luck at immunity..."

Back at Civet CD was starting to strategize.

**CD: I know I'm safe for the next couple of tribal councils, if Lindsey and me get past this I'm good**

"4576...Civet has won immunity!"

Berenty had to go to tribal council…

"Kitty the tribe has spoken," said Jeff.

Kitty walked off leaving 10…

I personally did not see Civet coming back and tying up with Berenty. I was shocked this actually happened. Kitty started putting in a lot of work near the end and it was disappointing to see her go since she was having fun!

Days 19-21

-Tribal Summit-
-Day 19-

Michael walked in to find Anna and Jeff sitting.

"Welcome Michael, you and Anna get to decide the new tribe, you two are the leaders so its your job. You guys pick a tribe name and a tribe color. Then you guys can make a flag. And..." said Jeff.

Michael and Anna looked at him with interest.

"You guys must pick a new tribe leader, good luck" said Jeff.

"What about green?" Anna asked.
"I'm not sure how about yellow?" said Michael.
"I like yellow that sounds good and I'm thinking Mantella as the tribe name.." said Anna.
"Where did you get that?"
"Well I was looking thru are survival manual and these sheets of animals that live around here...it is a small frog..." said Anna.
"Hmm, Mantella and yellow sounds good, so now we have to choose a tribe leader..." said Michael.

Jeff walked away and came back in with a rectangular piece of yellow fabric and some paint, and then brought out 10 yellow buffs.

"Maybe you guys can decide on a leader while painting," said Jeff and walked off. The two began to paint the flag.

"How does it look so far?" asked Anna.
"Looks good," said Michael admiring their work.
"I've been thinking," asked Anna, "What about Lindsey, she is friendly and does stuff around the camp?"
"Hmm I've heard about Lindsey...ok..."

Jeff walked out, "Lets make it official, Berenty and Civet have merged to the Mantella tribe which will always wear yellow, and Lindsey is the new leader!"

"Yea go Mantella!" yelled Anna. Michael laughed as he finished up his Mountain Dew.

Michael and Anna put on their new yellow buffs each taking four.

Jeff then handed them a map that lead to their new camps.

The two tribes merged into Mantella and CD had started a new alliance with Lindsey and Anna.

At the immunity challenge, Nancy won immunity by staying on her totem pole the longest.

At tribal council the spider ring's rules were changed.

"It is now time to vote for the spider ring," said Jeff, "But this time, it is a bit different. The spider ring is now a double bladed sword. Whoever gets it cannot vote, but they are also immune, you'll have to rethink your strategy on the spider ring."

Nancy received the spider ring.

The remaining nine voted and shockingly John was voted out with 6 of the nine votes.

"The first person voted out of Mantella…John. You need to bring me your torch.

Emily looked up shocked.

John stood up and walked up to Jeff, "John the tribe has spoken," said Jeff and snuffed John's torch.

"Good game you guys, see ya," said John and walked off.

"Congratulations you guys, you have all made the jury, I'll see you tomorrow…"

The nine members of Mantella walked off.

John played a great game, but I'm guessing he just wasn't in the in crowd. CD, Ashley, and Lindsey will start to play bigger roles next episode and people wonder if Summer should stay.

On the Next Episode of Survivor

Nine remain

Ashley…

"Nancy told me last night she still doesn't know what the hell she's doing in this game so she isn't really with anyone.."

Anna…

"He didn't consult anyone!?"

Only one will win

Jake…

"Summers beginning to grow on me too, but we can dispose of her easily next round if we have to…"

CD…

"This is a difficult decision..."

A new alliance has been made

Emily…

"You did not vote with us, that is why we all lose!"

Lindsey…

"You gotta do what is right for yourself!"

Will it be shattered?

Michael…

**Michael: Well CD and Ashley totally betrayed us**

Summer…

**Summer: I was surprised at the votes and need to keep talking to people**

Nancy

"Trust me, it's doubtful they will."

All this and more on the next episode of Survivor!
