Suffering is a heavy cross we must learn to carry. Our burden is sometimes backbreaking, but necessary. When endured it puts our human character to a test. When conquered it strengthens our resolve to become the best.
It is our constant reminder to be humble and meek. Because the truth is, we are all vulnerable and weak. Our own afflictions can very well be mitigated; If only we could understand why it was created.
The reason perhaps is beyond our human comprehension. But knowing Christ Himself suffered is our consolation. Offering our agony and grief we share in His passion. Sacrifice surrendered with love becomes our salvation.
Look at pain and suffering therefore in a positive light. Even when defeat is imminent, do not give up the fight. It is by the Lord's grace that we will overcome with might. Despite the difficulties, victory is well in sight.
