Seventeen-year-old
Rainier Joseph Castillo had only set his sight on being a commercial model, but
now that he has made it to the select Starstruck Final 14 he is ready to pursue
the path to stardom. Although financial problems had forced him to quit school,
Rainier is motivated to do his best to help his mother and older sister. He
doesn’t mind if his father left them when he was three years old because he
has always had a strong-willed mother who raised him and his sister righteously.
He is grateful that his mother always reminded them to count their blessings and
not to be envious of what other people have. Look at him now, he really doing
