EPISODE ONE

Crakatoa picked their campsite first, a shady location at an intersection of paths. Jon, who happens to be a boy scout, brought a tent, canteen, and Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) with him to help out the team. Dan seemed appreciative, saying "I'm glad we have our model boy scout here". A little annoyed, however, Cara remarked "he's more like a wannabe boy scout." Jon is not just Cara's team mate, but also her younger brother.

Cara became weary of not just her brother, but the entire tribe. "They all want me to die!" she joked. "It's ok. I was supposed to be in an alliance with Jonathan, but he's a butthead." Another tribe member who was beginning to stick out was Dan. He brought with him a collection of rocks "to make everyone else feel uncomfortable." Most people saw this as the joke it was meant to be, but it did make a few people uncomfortable.

Talk soon turned to the first challenge. The whole team decided that they wouldn't have to try very hard because Kiribati would want to lose and kick out Adam for making the game start so late.

Dan suggested that they pretend to make an effort, but not try all that hard, but Cara insisted they try their hardest because "if they win, that would just be bad."
