The game started off fairly, with both teams abotu even in points. The first time number "4" was called, and Jon faced Kyle for custody of the hat, Kyle implemented a kicking strategy to kick the hat out of the way, grab it, and run to the finish.
This strategy soon helped Kiribati rack up 9 points to Crakatoa's 4. Crakatoa learned the strategy as well, though, and made an astonishing comeback to tie the score 9-9. Chris from Crakatoa and Jason from Kiribati faced off in the last match which ended with a Crakatoa vicory.
