Both tribes then left to go back and cool off in the river, as the humidity was just getting worse as the day drew on. Kiribati celebrated their win and were happy that they were going in the merge with six people. "I know I've said this how many times," asked Renee, "but we NEED to vote off Bailey first thing at the merge." She expressed some concern when alone though, noting "Adam may leave us and vote with his old tribe, and Jen's sister is on the other tribe as well. Even though our tribe has 6 people, we may still be picked off."

Over at Crakatoa, the mood is much more somber, as they need to vote someone out. Jon let the camera know, "I'm trying to rally everyone to get Susie out. As long as I can pull of a guys vs. girls thing, we'll be good." Susie, on the other hand stated, "Jon's out. It's not even a factor anymore. He wasn't with us originally."

As they prepared for Tribal Council, Craig started to make a shell talk and laughed about it, when he saw that he was being filmed, he did a fake scream and chucked the shell at the camera, making funny faces. Maybe the tribe wasn't taking things so seriously after all.
