Nathan Hogan is a senior in high school, who was born and raised in Fullerton, CA. He has been home schooled his entire life, but in his sophomore year of high school, he began to simultaneously attend classes at Fullerton College. He is set to graduate from high school in June with two years of college already under his belt, and plans to attend Biola University in the fall, majoring in psychology. Nathan, a practicing Christian, also plans to attend seminary and become a youth pastor working with junior high or high school students.

Nathan is an avid Survivor fan, and has followed every season since the Outback. His friends often criticize his obsession with the show, but he thinks winning Survivor: Canary Islands will show them that he can put his money where his mouth is. His favorite Survivor was Elisabeth, and so naturally he was very disappointed when she turned down Survivor: All Stars, but is happy that she landed her new gig on The View.

Nathan currently works as a lead teacher to a class of rowdy preschoolers, and loves every minute of it. He loves kids, and feels a lot of the time like he’s really a four-year-old trapped in a seventeen-year-old body. He has also spent most of his high school career going on missions trips to Mexico, Canada and most recently, a six-week trip to Romania over the past summer. Nathan describes himself as outgoing, dedicated and sarcastic.

Nathan currently lives at home with his parents Steve & Kathy, his older sister Kim (20), his younger brother Daniel (14), and their spoiled-rotten beagle, Copper. He also has an older brother, Matt (23). His birthday is July 8, 1986.
