1) for right- handers; hold bow in your right hand at the end with the clove hitch. String should remain loose |
2) your pinky finger will be placed directly over or slightly behind the clove hitch |
3) the bow will be placed as far up as it can go between the thumb and index finger, the fingers will wrap around the bow string, and... |
4) the bow string will be pushed down with the thumb |
5) the bowstring is centered across the thunb. This will allow you to control the tightness when you spin the drill. I have watched, in amusement, one of my colleagues, in his video, exclaim that para-chute cord is too slippery to be used for this purpose. Using the above technique, you should not experience any difficulty using nylon cord |
