Introducing your guide to Survival and Outdoor Safety:
                                         Gene Ward

1968-75: U.S. Air Force, global survival training instructor;
taught aircrew personel how to survive in some of the planets most hostile and remote environments, including; desert, arctic, sea, mountain, jungle, tropics, and POW.

1984-85: Walk Across America; launched my civilian survival career by meeting America up close and personal. I met some of the our countries most recognized  leaders in the survival business, including; Larry Dean Olsen, Tom Brown Jr., and Papa Bear Whitmore. My 427 day, 3,100 mile solo walk was featured in newspaper articles, evening news broadcasts, radio talk-shows and I was even featured in a high school text book. I encouraged audiences of all ages to pursue their dreams and not allow fear to get in their way. I figured if I said it to others often enough eventually I'd believe it myself. It was also during this walk that I met Ruth.

1993-Present: introduced Survival and Outdoor Safety to the Bay Area in California and The Puget Sound Area in Washington.

2001- Quit the corprate world and bought 15 acres in the remote corner of Washington State, just outside of Colville
where we began conducting classes and producing instructional videos.
