RULES AND GUIDELINES OF
Survivor Online 2000

MISSIONS:

-Your missions will be posted clearly on the egroups list. They will come delivered as "Mission1:..., Mission2:..., etc.

-The Tribal Council decision will be posted clearly on the list as well. It will come delivered as "Tribal Council #1 RESULTS...etc.

-ALL members of the Tribe DO NOT have to be present and/or online to begin the mission. How the teams chooses to complete missions is THEIR choice.

-Each mission had a deadline date. When you have conmpleted your mission, DO NOT post it on the list! Pick ONE tribemate to send it to ME. ONLY ONCE. Posting it on the list, will open up your chances for the other tribe to steal answers. DO NOT miss the deadline. If a deadline is missed, the other team WINS immunity.

-Should their be an EXACT tie between the Tribes, or Tribemates in an immunity challenge, the Tribe/Tribemate who correctly completed the challenge FIRST will be declared the winner.

RULES TO WATCH:

-You can see your tribemates, and your opposite trie pictures ANYTIME at the "Files" section(http://www.egroups.com/files/SurvivorOnline/) of our egroup.

-There is to be NO communication from one tribe to another, unless stated in a mission. Communicating secretly will be caught, with all parties involved, BANNED.

-DO NOT post private chat, and team things on the list. The list is mainly for me to post missions, informations, changes, and tribal council results.

ISLAND COMFORTS AND SETBACKS:

-A total of 336 points worth of Island Comforts (Food, clothing blankets, weapons, etc.) and Island Setbacks (Animal bites, stolen food, missing goods, etc.) will be posted on the list regularly. Comforts and Setbacks will come attatched with a number of positive points for Comforts, and extra challenges for Setbacks. The Comforts will be in the "Files" section of the egroup(http://www.egroups.com/files/SurvivorOnline). Later, the points from comforts can be added to missions.

*For example, you think you have all of the answers right on a mission, except the last question has you stumped. You may then "trade" a comfort you have won, and gain the number of pioints it is worth, onto your mission score. Let's say you make a 96 on your mission, and have attached a blanket, worth 7 points. You lose a blanket, but have a mission score of 103.

-Island Comforts: If a team does extra well on a mission, or something of the sort, they could win an Island Comfort. The island comfort will be announced on the list, and go into the "Files" section (http://www.egroups.com/files/SurvivorOnline) of our egroup.

***BONUS***: If a tribe can save FIFTY (50) Island Comfort points,at one time, they will recieve a very handsome reward.

-Island Setbacks: For example, I might say that _____ of the ______ tribe has been bitten by a spider, and have the spider's picture in the email. His/her tirbe then has to research that spider, and determine if it is poisonous or not, and email me with the RIGHT answer BEFORE the bitten tribemate can participate in the mission! If you are looking to save time, you might complete the mission without them, but at the risk of having a smaller tribe.

-I will select at random, the tribe who recieves an Island Setback. Island Comforts must be earned.

TRIBAL COUNCILS:

-THE TRIBAL COUNCILS go as following: On the date of the mission deadline, I will determine the winner of the missions, post it on the list, along with the scores from the mission. In that email, I will post that the losing tribe, must tribal council. The losing team, MUST then each send me an email to Taskmaster_2000#hotmail.com, with nothing but "my vote for banishment is: _______". When ALL members of the losing team have voted, I will post the banished tribemate on the egroups list.

-Once you have been VOTED OFF THE LIST, you still have THREE more jobs to do. You may post ONE message on the list, subjected: "______'s Final Words". Then you may go to the "Polls" section (http://www.egroups.com/polls/SurvivorOnline) of our list center and vote ONCE in the poll. DO NOT vote until you are banished! THEN, you can make the choice to stay on the list, on "No Post", so you can watch, but not post, or leave the list. The choice is yours.

-The results of each Tribal Council, including the number of votes agianst each person will be posted at the "Database" section (http://www.egroups.com/database/SurvivorOnline) of our egroup each week. The results will be posted on the list, but only the name of the voted off, not the vote count.

-IF a banned tribemate is caught still helping his/her tribe, the tribe being helped AUTOMATICALLY is subject to Tribal Council, where TWO tribemates will be voted off the list. Then, all three parties will be BANNED.

THE TRIBES: -When the number of survivors has reached 8, each tribe will select a representative from their tribe, and the two will meet privately. In this meeting, the two will then come up with a new tribe name for the eight left, and after deciding, they will email ME and inform me.I will then announce it, disband the Bombur and Noh tribes, and the remaning 8 will compete no longer as teams, but as individuals.

-This is where it gets tricky. When the tribes are merged, each tribe must figure out a way to distribute their Island Comfort Points. I will have NO say in this. You can divide them, give them all to one tribemate, disguard them, or deal with them in any fashion you see needed.

-After the tribe has merged, Missions will be every man or woman for themselves. Tribemates will win Island Comfort Points and Immunity alone. The tribemate who wins immunity cannot be voted of the the list at the Tribal Council. Only the losing castmates can be voted for. In a challenge, the winner wins immunity, the others win nothing.

-When every Tribemate has been eliminated, except for 2 players, instead of having an immunity mission, I will call back the last 10 tribemates voted off the island. These 10 ex-tribemates will then VOTE for one of the two remaining tribe members to determine the final winner, by emailing their choice for winner to me at: taskmaster_2000@hotmail.com. I will then tally the votes, and announce the winner of SurvivorOnline2000. If a tie should occur, the 11th tribe member will be asked to return to break the tie by a vote to me, and I will announce the winner on the list, and end this season of SurvivorOnline.
