What should a Flemish Giant weigh?

Senior Bucks should weigh at least 13 pounds.  What is a Senior?  A Senior is an animal that is eight months of age and over.

Senior Does should weigh at least 14 pounds.

Intermediate Bucks and Does are defined as six to eight months of age.

Junior Bucks and Does
are defined as under six months of age, but must weigh 6 lbs to be entered for showing.
What body type should a flemish giant have?

A Flemish Giant should have a long and powerfull body with a full, broad fore and hindquarters. A Flemish should not be fat.  The body should have a gracefull arch from the shoulders with an upward sweep to the hindquarters.  The hindquarters should be massive and broad, not v- shaped.  The body should be  firm and smooth, and solid showing good muscular development.  The size should express the Giant Characteristics and physical aspects,  depicting a balanced animal.  The dewlap on the does should be large and full  but  balance with the doe and be evenly displayed.
